So in protest against Yahoo trying to buy out Tumblr, I propose we all change our icons to this image. That way whenever all the top CEO’s and business men see this Yahoo-hate-Apocalypse they will know exactly who they are dealing with.
No I’m not some big famous Tumblr blogger, but I think this would be a really good idea. Heck, if we can make the Mishapocalypse happen and get a kid a fluffy chicken, we can do this.

Why do people say I’m positive and an inspiration? I feel so realistic/negative about life and such a bad person. I do not see the happy things about myself like people say to me.
It’s because we, as humans, are programmed to fixate on the negative aspects of ourselves. I know exavtly what you’re talking about- people call me energetic, bubbly, sweet, all these beautiful adjectives and all I can see is a nihilistic depressed chick with bald spots. That’s what I’ve been programmed to see. We only see the bad side while most other people only see the good side. It’s important to know that both sides of this coin are real.
Random question for my fellow hijabis out there: How do y’all get haircuts? I need a trim, but I don’t know how to go about doing that without showing my hair in public and in front of men. Are there any female-only hair salons? Do I just go to a normal salon and ask them to cut my hair in a back closet where no one can see me? ’Cause yeah…I can’t see myself doing that.
I don’t know if you’re married or not, if anyone usually sees your hair outside of public or not, but there’s always the option of cutting iy on your own!
